Divine Conversations
Painting by Stacie Flint
Poetry by T.A. Young
To see the orange in the green;
To see the yellow in the blue;
To see the message in the night sky
Is to hear music in silence
And to capture the world in brushstrokes.
The trees and stars in divine conversation,
The one reaching down, the other reaching up,
Each – like us – hoping for only the touch of
Gold, the harmony of sacred strings,
The orchestra that is Nature captured fleetingly
By the orchestra that is humanity –
or, more modestly (acknowledging perspective)
The quartet that is humanity….
If you seek the glow of Nature’s convergence,
You may find the illumination you seek
